Southwest Montana is where Little Jane & the Pistol Whips hang their hats. Born and raised in Southwest Montana, Little Jane’s (aka. Ashly Jane Holland) original songs, dress, and demeanor carry what one would envision Montana to look and sound like. A little bit rough around the edges and a lotta bit warm and inviting. The band has been together in one form or another since 2008. The band Born out of a solo show at the Owl Bar in Livingston, Montana, Little Jane would serenade a group of dedicated fans with her original songs and a collection of classic country covers.

Speaking of original songs, Holland has released two full-length studio albums, with a third on the way. “This Town,” recorded in 2010 at Peach St. Studio in Bozeman, is a full-band, full-energy collection of songs. “Each Little Note,” a nine-song collection of works, was released in 2012 and recorded at Electric Peak Recording in Emigrant, MT. “Back Home,” slated for release in 2023, is a highly anticipated collection of songs from Holland’s travels. Ashly has had the good fortune of having her songs on Montana PBS’s 11th, and Grant (with Erik Funk), the Montana Sessions, and the show “Big Sky” on ABC, and her group is repeatedly voted in the top three Country music bands in Bozeman, MT. Holland’s songs will surely get you dancing, tapping your toes, or wiping away a tear. She is excited to share her music with the kind folks of Cody, WY, at the Yellowstone Songwriters Festival in 2023.
